In recent years, due to increased stress, mental strain, and illnesses such as Covid, many people have experienced varying degrees of fatigue. One of the best things we can do to restore our energy is to regularly charge our seven main energy centers (chakras).
Barbara Ann Brennan describes in her book “Hands of Light” the following text and illustrations of the energy centers:
It is important to open the energy centers and increase the flow of energy, because the more energy flows, the healthier we are. Illness occurs if the balance of energy flow is disrupted or if there are blockages. One of the roles of the energy centers is to bring life to the energy body and, consequently, to the physical body. More detailed information about the energy centers and their functions can be found in Barbara’s book Hands of Light.
The energy centers, from the crown to the root:
Crown (White)
Third Eye/Forehead (Violet)
Throat (Blue)
Heart (Green)
Solar Plexus (Yellow)
Sacral (Orange)
Root (Red)
When listening to the meditation, it is helpful to mentally say on inhale: In with love and healing, and on exhale: Out with fatigue and stress.
